I am building a new Shop with an office. It is stick construction with metal roof.?

Does a metal roof demand full decking underneath. Also can a spray-on insulation be occupied on the underside of the metal roof? Are metal roofs self-venting or do they neediness seperate ridge vents? What is best to use for a vapor obstruction? Thanks
A metal roof is most often constructed using *purlins ( wood 2" x 4"s ran down at right angles to to the roof trusses or rafters. These purlins are placed on 2' to 3' centers with one full one at the bottom and top. You can lap them at the joints
