Flashing main lamps on airplane, did they mean anything ?

I exist under the approach to EMA, last night while out driving I saw a plane about the rate of a 737 coming into land, maybe 5 miles out, and both its leading forward pointing lamps (what on a car we would call headlamps) were coming on then switching

Flea display the car with spray from the vet, not walmart.
You can fog your house but first extinguish all pilot lights and unplug anything that cycles on and off - refridgerator, freezer, heater, a/c entity, etc.
