What equipment do you need to be a DJ? Can you scratch records on any turntable?

Im 14 y/o and I as a matter of fact want to be a DJ. Ive always really been into stuff like Irish colleen Talk and such, but I dont want to be a dj like him and mix songs on the internet. I necessitate to be an old-fashion and use an actual turntable.

bestbuy doesn't carry the type of turntables you would need to dj with. going vinyl is indeed expensive, you should look into cdjs unless you indigence to scratch. Your best bet is to hitup a guitar center and have one of sales people facilitate you out

well you should start out out of it. i would recommend going to a best buy. the newer stores most of the time have turntables. i would start out with one table for now. pioneer is a creditable brand. you might also need external speakers, a responsible board, amplifiers and stuff
