Well-grounded some food for thought:
Two of the most commonly stated contributing factors to the birth of hip hop are that it was born out of poverty and that it started with DJs. DJ equipment is among the most expensive lyrical equipment,

DJ Kool Herc started out with a duo of turntables and a guitar amp, both of which would probably run you 300$ nowadays, which isn't that exspensive. I'm not solid what

this pertains to unstationary or club dj's and/or sound people.
Extravagant but clean & clear sound is not just about what's in your amp rack. Solid speakers & good wires also play an leading role. Plus a good quality signal active into the the amps plays an important role in how accomplished your system sounds.
