I weigh SONY still keeps there quality at a higher gauge at there own private stores. Do you beleive this too?

Sony excels in R&D, but falls way behind in blue blood & reliability. I'd give Pioneer the nod over Sony, they are also very diverse, but much more reputable & they're also the top of the line in professional DJ equipment.

How can i connect a microphone to a stereo system that does not have a Mic input on it?

I would like to be versed this because I'm going to be doing some things soon that i have need of the use of a mic. I'm also going to be using a kenwood stereo to power the speakers for the ring system.

You can join a mic to a home stereo. You will need to buy a cheap mic mixer first:

The tape outputs on the mixer will tie together to an unused input on the stereo receiver.
