What beginning equipment do you need for becoming a DJ?

I hanker after to start Djing and i was wondering what equipment do i sine qua non. I have considered to get a M Audio Xpeonet or a Numark NS7 but the price is a big influence here.

I started out with well-deserved my macbook laptop using garageband.
Garageband wasn't that effective but it works if you know how to use everything.
Then, I bought Virtual DJ. It changed everything!! It's a bit extravagant

Man about town...

I used to DJ when I was 17-25.... record decks are too valuable. You'd need 2 x decks (eg. technics 1210), then a mixer, then an amp with speakers, then the vinyl (£3 - £10 per vinyl). So I'd warn NOT to DJ with vinyl although

I inadequacy to start out scratching and mixing, what's the best dispense (price, amount of tech, included CDs/records and tutorials)

Cd decks or Vinyl? dont no much match vinyl so cd decks: numark axis 9 - built in effects including damage and reverse, also touch sensitive jogwheel,defeat tech for $, good mixer i started on : Behringer vmx 300 - principal 3 channel mixer with kills
