For a apprentice dj, what equipment should I start out with? I'd like to start out with paradigmatic turntables or a cd turtable set. What do I need to look for? How much am I thriving to spend? I basically need general suggestion on what I need.

I soul disagree with this guy above me.
I'm a DJ in Las Vegas, which is the unspoken world topping for DJ's. Nobody, and I mean nobody is using CD players here.

Go to 123dj.com and look around. You will destitution a power amp, speakers, mixer, etc. They have it all, and pretty Sunday prices too. I have used them more than once for equipment.
