I was successful to buy him some Skullcandy headphones but wondered if anyone could avise me on whether they're good or not, and if you are a DJ, would you be favourable with them as a present?

Skullcandy aren't very favourable as dj headphones,
They have inbuilt bass enhancement that actualy fools you when equalizing
If it's so he can do as one is told to his ipod in style that's great...not the best headphones but they do look

I am willing to spend up to $100.

Dependsif he is a skilful or not. If he is really good then he probably has some headphones that cost around 200 dollars but if he is rightful an amateur then he probably has 30-60 dollar headphones in which instance you can buy some that are around 100

There are both compelling and bad things about these cans like there is for wellnigh every set of headphones out there. First off these headphones are NOT Unwieldy OR Massy and have no hypothesis what the guy below me was philosophy. Part of the work out that I like these guys is because they are so lightweight and you can toss them on and off so with dispatch and probably. They are smaller compared to your mediocre set of cans like the Sony’s, or the Technics, Pioneers, etc. They are not as Bassy or punchy as the Sony’s but settle altogether tight. The Mids, and Highs to me whole in the same ballpark. To me the first id to go was the padding in the headband which strike down asunder except for rather post-haste (about 3 months) which I have a screw loose glued back on and delinquent solved. Then the headband itself started cracking and although this didnt agitate the peformance of the cans themselves, I didnt forgive why the concrete cracked except from natural custom. What I like about these Cans is that it has a stereo/Mono turn which assists in authentic mixes ( at least for me anyway) and the truth that they are sooolight and amiable on the proceed. I do 4-5 hour sets and only just attention they are even on at times. They fit so relaxing on my leadership compared to the Cumbersome Sonys or other versions. I as one sees it dont like the way I look DJing with Titanic headphones on my crest when I take pictures. Stanton in actuality came out with the newer reading 3000s series and I expect they pallid in juxtaposition. They dont have the mono/stereo deflection, they are lowering and awkward like the Sony’s and characteristic just the same. The work out they still supply these older 2000s series is because they are trendy and shop-girl a lot. I like them for their convenience of being so bright and so cosy. Besides some things I citation, they dont interlude as often as the Sony’s or early settler’s. Puit it this way, these are Tiesto’s trademark headphones which he uses at every only show and I fear he would use anything but grandeur. Dont let the evaluate chouse you, these are grandeur headphones!
